My first official post as club prez is to urge everyone to get into GBS and figure out your sizing of the new kit. Champion Systems has made it quick and easy. Everything is color-coded and way visibly marked with the size (you'll know what I mean when you see it). But, I'm getting ahead of myself. For anyone that has some complaining about leaving LG, let me tell you that the quality of this new stuff should be great. I was looking through a magazine the other day and noted how many of the smaller pro teams were wearing this gear. It will definitely make it easy for us all to get the pieces we want. There will be no more hassle of "we didn't make the minimums for this, so come get your check back." The material appears to be a little thinner, but full zips and radio pockets are included along with special cuts for women for no extra costs.
I tried on the stuff today. You need to do the same soon. I wear a med bib and med top in LG. With Champ Sys sizing, I'm still a med bib (although it is a tiny bit tighter), but I fit much better into a large racer jersey. The med club fit jersey seems just a bit bigger than the LG med. Do yourself a favor and try it on before ordering. Dave will be boxing the stuff up by the end of the day on Sunday so he can ship on Monday morning. Sorry we don't have the sizing kit for longer, but sometimes you just do what you can.
