Hope your fall is moving along nicely. Racin' some cross. Enjoying the leaves and the trails. Maybe thinking about some Nordic skiing? Well, anyway. With 2008 on the horizon, the subject of club clothing comes up. After three (or 4) years with Louis Garneau as our clothing vendor, we've decided to give someone else a try. Although we have been very happy with the LG's clothing over the years, we've always struggled with meeting minimums, and being able to offer the membership much variety because of the not being able to meet minimums on things like jackets, vests, and so on.
So for 2008 we will be going with Champion Systems clothing. Champion Systems offers a high quality product with regard to both sublimation, and materials. But Champion Systems really hits a home run with their minimums policies.
Just by meeting a very low minimum of 10 units on any like items (say shortsleeve jerseys) the club is then able to get any other items (excluding accessories) in quantities as low as one item. So when we get to ten jerseys, we can then order just one longsleeve jersey, one jacket, one pair of bib fleece-lined tights! It's pretty cool. And their pricing is more than competitive.
So all that said, I have posted an updated Membership Form including a clothing order form and pricing.
We will be getting a fitting kit into the shop in the next few weeks, so stay tuned for info on that.
Deadline for orders is Saturday, January 5th, 2008. All orders and dues must be paid in full at that time for your order to go in.
